what will be the best tranny fluid for my 1988 90Q w/132000 miles? Thanks!

How hard is it to change tranny and diff fluid, should I go to a local shop or can I do it myself? Thank for your help!

Buy an electric pump (transom pump, or a livewell pump, runs off of +12VDC, connect it to car batt

or cig lighter. Heat gear oil up in a hot water bath to ease the flow....

Be glad the 01A doesn't have its fill plug on the BOTTOM of the trans case like the ZF built HP19 and HP24 used in the Tiptronic cars. I did the service on the A6Aq, what a giant PITA.
