Update.
Okay so here's the deal...Bomb in my CQ=toasted and so is the PS pump...Going to have the shop take care of the bomb but they want to charge me $700 to put in a new PS pump F*** that I can do that part. But I need a write up or a few tips on how to go about it. Tried searching the forums but all I came up with was water pump write ups.
Thank in advance.

Get used P/S pump on Audifans.
Get a used vacuum resevoir and have them replace the hydraulic one with that (deletes the bomb). In the end it'll be the same price or cheaper.

Is the vacuum assist conversion a PITA to do or what?
Can't find a write up or just not familiar with motorgeek.com searched but only found reviews or more questions.<ul><li><a href="http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=289008 57&albumID=1719209&imageID=38855693">http ://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=289008 57&albumID=1719209&a

A lot depends on how you go about it. I have pulled a vac assist from an 88 90
and, with the dash out, it's pretty easy. I'm going to put it in my 91 90 when I replace my HVAC housing so, again, the dash will be out.
I think that if the dash is in it would be a major pain in the **** as the 3 bolts to the assist unit and the clip on the brake pedal are all buried way up and under dash. All the work would be by feel.

Remove seat and lower kick panel. This is the hardest part from what I've heard though.
I'll be doing the conversion in about a month or so. I'll let you know how it goes then.

it hurts your neck, but I did mine with my seat in place.
Just find a way to cram yourself and a light in the footwell all at once, make sure you get the right tools in a place where you can grab them, and suck it up for about 15 minutes. I'm 6'-2" and 210lbs so if I can get in there, most people here should be able to. Also, an assistant would have been a big help, but alas, I did not have one.
