Default that's kind of what i fugured, so i began pulling that one.

BM, did you have to do any splicing of the red harness and your harness? any other tricks to make the electrical part of the swap go smoothly? luckily, every wire and connector is labelled, so i should be alright. but from what i've heard, the electrical is very difficult.
also, what did you do for you intercooler? did you have one fabbed or did you use an audi part?

Default You will need more than just the red harness for a '91Cq... BTDT

Cut out as little as possible.

ALOT of the wires/connectors you will need are bound into the main engine loom.

no problem...

The K24 and water cooled K26's look identical, except the K26 is slightly larger. It is more laggy, however. At first I thought the clutch was slipping on the '86 TQ, then I was like, DUH, lag...Then it hit 1.4bar, and that Civic kept getting smaller. 3rd gear on that car was great.

Here is the '86's K26 after I rebuilt it, and gave it a shot of header-coat on the hot-side.
