Bentley says
Minimum dimensions (bet. center of valve stem and upper edge of cyl head):
Intake valve = 36.0 mm
Exhaust valve = 36.3 mm
Also says to ONLY rework valve seats, don't reface valves, only lapping is permitted.

I have never worked on the 20v head, so I won't speculate on whether your dimensions will work or not.
I posted what Bentley manual stated for minimum dimensions, so hydraulic lifers have room to pump up. Bentley states "minimum dimension" in many other manuals (8v, 10v VW and Audi) but no mention of maximum. It would be nice to know what the dimension was as shipped on a new head.
Manual did not state maximum tip height dimensions, although it showed seat facing angles and dimensions.
Maybe someone who has worked on these heads will chime in? Did you grind some off the valve stem? New valves, reworked seats?
