Default vibration problem

1993 90cs fwd automatic with 120k... I'm feeling an engine or transmission vibration between 2100 and 2200 RPM's. Not sure if it's coming from the engine or transmission, but it vibrates on acceleration and deceleration between 2100 and 2200 RPM's regardless of speed or witch gear it's in!! There are no trouble codes in trans or engine so I'm not sure where to begin to diagnose the problem. The cars has 120k on it and I was thinking that maybe it could be slush-box related or speed sensor??? Has anyone heard of a problem like this? Any ideas?

Transmission mounts maybe worn? Front snub mount maybe worn/mission?

I was thinking maybe mounts also, but the vibration is precisely between 2100 and 2200 RPM's ONLY (on acceleration or deceleration). Even when I'm on the freeway doing a steady 65 mph I can feel the vibration (at 65 mph the RPM's are right at 2100 so if I speed up or slow down it goes away). Do you know if bad mounts could cause such a percise vibration point? -Thanks

PS. MikTip, my car is identical to your 90cs (except it's still an automatic). Your car looks GREAT!! Let me know if you want to sell your wheels/tires or suspension parts, I'm serious and I have the $$

Start the car up, put it in neutral and crank the ebrake so it doesnt roll on you. Pop the hood and manualy twist the throtal body by pulling on the cables.

How much does the engine move? Do you hear any clanking around exp in the range of the revs you said before.

Its either a eninge mount like Mik said or something internal on the trans. Also check your trans fluid while your in there, it might just be that your low.

or you could do the same thing mentioned but with hood closed and foot on brake if auto put in drive(and reverse for second test) and step on it leaving foot on brake. If you feel the engine torque up or anything like it seems to be hitting the hood then they are bad.
