Default I've got video of Al Holbert running a 956 at "The Ring"...

That guy was amazing, and I have the video to prove it.

Default Gee, did you watch the whole thing?

They switch tracks midway and it looks like the Nordschleife to me. :-/

As racing engines go, the 20vT I-5 isn't the best sounding motor. When tuned correctly, it sounds good, but it's not "intoxicating". The greatest sounding race motors in the world come from Maranello, and only then from the fifties, and sixties. The king of all glorious engine sounds belongs to...the V-12 Rolls Royce Merlin. If you ever get the chance to go to an air-show that has a D-model Mustang that's flying, you'll think every other motor you hear from then on, sounds like crap. I kid you not. There's nothing like the sound of those Mustangs. Now THAT'S intoxicating.
