I thought, instead of paying 300 euro for a Becker Monza, which is very cool by the way,why go that way and not pay half of that and buy the Coupe H4/H1 typ89 headlamps
Besides with the lousy high beam of the HIDs i was getting frustrated even with the vertical motorised adjustments (which i found out that i had to have them in order to be legal wearing HIDs in europe.Apparently a law says that in order to wear hids you must have E1 lamps, motorised vertical adjustment and washers(???)...anyway not that anyone is really botheres about that here in Greece.
My high beam as i was saying was quite lousy and although the beam went far,it seemed to dissapear left and right(which is ok)but not that for front.SO this was my only solution. To my happiness and surprise the motors fitted the headlamps perfectly and now they are worn on the car.I had to make some wiring modifications but hey!
I'll post pictures tonight so you can see the difference. Now i can really lower my low beam even more so i dont get any opposite blinging ever,AND i can have a decent high beam.
Vag parts has a nice pic here showing the low HID and the low and high beam(Halogen)
hopefully it will look something like that although that pic is taken from RS2 projectors.

http://www.vagparts.com/images/HID/4_tn.jpg</a

that this make has 3 levels of tint. All around is medium tint, and the front one is light tint.I really didn't want to use something so different in all windows.i wanted something that looked alike in all.
