Default Welp, I tried the iTrip route for iPod integration into my Coupe, and it suXor3d.

Too much static on any channel, too much feed back, etc.

So I'm going this route now:

The Blaupunnkt Los Angeles MP71 that's been in my Coupe for a couple years.
<img src="http://www.audiosound.info/autoradiaMP3/Los%20Angeles%20MP71.jpg">

This Blaupunkt -&gt; iPod cable from Crutchfield.

And one of these mounts From Kuda Phonebase.

I can't decide which mount, help me decide.

Default IMO no mount...looks bulky and out of place...

I also like to be able to hold the ipod when changing songs. But hey, thats me.

The Blaupunkt setup looks nice though.

If you want to save some money you should hardwire it yourself...Not sure about that deck (gamma?)...but I was able to tap a 1/8" headphone wire into the CD-changer input on my Bose. I have a 3-way toggle switch which selects CD player, ipod, or mute.

I did it this way because it cost about $5 and I wanted to keep the Bose system.

Default none of the above, glovebox, the Blaupunkt unit controls it from the head

no need to see or touch iPod at that point.

Default I wouldnt use the IPOD cable...

The one i bought for my kenwood deck was like 120 bucks. it displayed the song names and stuff on my deck but you cant control songs through the ipod and when you control through your deck you cant select a specific song you have to keep hitting next song.

I found it easier to buy an rca to headphone cable for 5 dollars and plug the rca's into the back of my deck and the other end into headphone of ipod. and an ipod charger ofcourse 20 bucks maybe.

But i dont know how your cable works with your deck.
