Default What are the affects of a collapsed crankcase breather hose?

I need to replace it but I have no idea what it's like to have a good one. Anyone replaced one?

Too much positive crankcase pressure. Evidence includes oil in the distributor.

Default I've been wondering what the oily smell coming out of my vents was...

probably from the collapsed hose not being able to suck out the fumes! Cool, I'll be glad to get rid of that.
