Default What do I need for a B3 to B4 hood conversion?

My brother went dear hunting with his Audi 90, and bashed in the headlights and crumpled the hood. He wants to do a B4 hood conversion since he has to replace that stuff anyway, but isn't sure what all this involves. He's trying to keep it cheap, so nothing too fancy. Reusing parts from the old hood would be nice. He already found a hood at a junk yard. Will it work with just the hood and new B3 headlights?

I should not be answering this because I am a novice here but I am doing the same thing. I got a B4 hood from Certifit for $80. I was told all I needed was a B4 radiator support and lock mechanism. The B3 lights will work but they will be covered a bit by the grill area.

If you need better answers just do a search and you will find better info.

Now how is that keeping it cheap. Maybe if you'd pay his rent ($600).

Default Go here for all the details...

Of course it can be done for less time and money. It just depends how thorough you want to be!<ul><li><a href="http://www.autox.biz/Frames/Audib4HoodConversionPage.htm">B4 hood conversion</a></li></ul>
