Dad's '96 A6q had that cap in green, my '96 A6q had one in green as well...
...and one of my other Audis had one in red just like that one too...I think it was my '96 A4q...

I think I've seen a cap like that before on my mom's 87 4k
I was initially surprised that mine didnt have the lock too, but then realized the the fuel door locked instead so I figured that was why.
