Car has consistently ran like *** for the last 2 months. I have done O2 sensor, potentiometer, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, k&n filer, catalytic converter, cold start valve, temp. sensor, new ECU, idle stabilizer valve. I think thats all of the relative stuff. car continues to fall on its face and it is noticeably slower (not that it was ever a power house to begin with). there are no vacum leaks that i have found. since our wonderful motronic systems rely so much on fuel pressure to function properly i was curious if i might have a problem with the pump? would a bad pump simply not work at all or could it work sometimes and not so good at others? who has had pump problems and what were the symptoms? im seriously considering installing a Simple Digital System fuel management system very soon. I love the car so damn much.

or simply scrounge for a fuel pimp and injectors? i have a new fuel filter for it. An SDS setup would probably cure all AND it would be way unusual to boot.
