Had a leak out the bottom seam. Only leaked when it was cold out though. I wanted an AKG but it was a Nissen that ended up coming to me. I figured since it was an AKG that crapped out on me, why not try the Nissen (it came out to be a little bit cheaper too). Been working great!

of the Nissens. I heard stories and have BTDT about problems with braking mounting inserts off.
Most of this experience has been with type 44 Audi replacement radiators though. Could be different for the B4 cars, etc.
Regardless I don't care for them.
AKG's, Modine, etc make good stuff.

i just put a nissans in my 88-90, looks well built, very light compared to the OE akg that it replaced. i had 16 years on the akg and it just had a hairline crack so as for quality akg surely has that, hard to say if the nissans will last that long...in 16 yrs i will know
