I've got to replace the left front wheel bearing on my '95 90S. The Bentley is
extremely cryptic and of course only refers to doing it with all the VW/Audi
special tools. I've got a press available once I get the suspension apart.
Has anyone out there done this and have any hints/suggestions/perils they'd
like to let me know about?

Ya got to remove the lower strut assembly.
First, with the cars weight on its wheels, loosen the axle bolt holding the outer CV joint. its a 27mm or 1 1/16.
Then jack the car, and support it on approved stands. Remove wheel, brakes, and lower suspension half.
Once removed the wheel beearing can be easily removed with a press.
Then you have to remove the wheel hub from the bearing. I use a bearing seperator.
BLAU once rented the special tool to R&R wheel bearings.
