Wheel fix : Before and After.
Well, here's the before and after pics. The wheels where done by Wheel Technoogies in Dallas, for 125.00 a piece. The front wheel was really trashed, but they managed to make an excellent fix on it. While closely comparing the wheels, these are the only differences I see between the old and new - The machined lip on the outer edge is machined in approx. 1/8 of an inch further on the old wheel than on the new (see pic), they probably could have taken the lathe in a bit further. The very outer edge of the lip has a bit different contour to it, but once again, very hard to tell unless you run your hand over it. The paint is a spot-on match, although the new paint actually appears harder and tougher than the old paint - a bit rougher though - not as smooth. Other than that, that's about it, they machined the curb rash out and made them look much better than I anticipated! It's very very difficult to tell the difference unless you're really looking. I highly recommend these guys for wheel repair. Good customer service, everything excellent. Mounting, balancing also included in the price, and neither wheel took alot of weights, showing me they really straitened these guys out!
EDIT : These are both undamaged wheels. The first pic is an old wheel, one that was undamaged. The bottom pic, a refinished and straitened one. Look at Jagers post below to see the damaged one I posted the other day.

Looks great...any pics of the damage.
I have a set of wheels that Mille Miglia doesn't make anymore, and it's great to know that they can be repaired if they get damaged. But that's a nightmare i have anyway!
