Default WHEEL HUB CONVERSION

I want to convert my 4lug wheel hub to 5 lug. Any idea which audi or VW will be the best candidate (fitment wise).

Umm what car? It kind of matters which car as the B3, CQ, and B4 cars are all a little different.

The easiest but some what most expensive is S2 hubs and rotors all the way around..

Deephouse, B5 Audi A4/S4 rear hubs work as long as you use B5 rear brakes.

Default Ahh

Didn't see that, could have sworn I looked too..

My suggestion would be 92-94 S4 front hubs, new wheel bearings, and a 5mm hub centric spacer between the rotor and hub. Then get the stock rotors redrilled for the 5 lug pattern. Out back use a set of A4/S4 B5 hubs, rotors, calipers, and brackets. I found a set of S4 rear brakes that worked excellent and gave me a larger vented setup.

FYI S2 hubs are about 600 all the way around, add bearing for 200 and then brake rotors up front are in the 250 range. I did my conversion for just under 500.

Here is the link to my conversion. You may need to sign up to see the pics.

http://www.tdif.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1525</a

Default spacers

you can get spacers and longer bolts/studs here. I'd recommend studds as it is soooo easy to mount wheels compared to oem!

http://www.ecstuning.com/HR/appguides/app_search.cgi?mak

4 Lug to 5 Lug Conversion on AudiWorld

Here is the conversion in pictures:
1. Go to Resources Tab at the top of this page.
2. Click on Tech Articles.
3. Navigate to "Tires/Brakes/Suspension".
4. Go to Models and down to 80/90.
5. Find: " Big Brake and 5 Lug Hub upgrade (B4)"
6. Success! Here's my story!
7. All the work of installation was done by Ron Wood & Crew at VW Specialties in Huntington Beach.
They did a great job.
