Wheel offset help needed on cabriolet.
Hi guys, I'm trying my luck here as everyone seems very knowledgeable on here.
I've got the option of some nice rims at a very good price with either of the following options:
7x17 ET 42
7x17 ET 28
Either a 205 or 215 tire will fit the alloy, so has anyone experience if these will fit or has anyone got either of these offsets on their cabriolet? Not sure if the age makes any difference, but mines a year 2000 with a planned 40mm drop.
Thanks in advance
Andrew

I have run the following on my cabriolet:
17x8 et15
17x9 et25
16x9 et 20
And an array of 17x7 and 18x7.5 at et 35's. With the higher offset wheels, the wheel will sit further in. Both will fit, i would lead towards the lower offset.
