While I was tightening down the lug nuts on my 90Q I over torqued one of them, causing it to strip. Can I just replace the stud or do I have to replace the whole hub? Thanks again for all the insight.

Holy Cow were you jumping on a breaker bar to torque the lug nut on?! It doesn't take much to tighten a lug nut on an Audi. It's cheaper to get a complete hub from a bone yard then too replace one lug.

Well, whats done is done. Its my first Audi so I started working on it with a bit of arrogance. I snugged the other ones up just fine, but though, eh, one more should do it. Needless to say I now know to read ahead, and not to drink to many beers while working on it ever again.

So did the bolt or the hub strip? If you were able to get the bolt out, and it's the bolt that stripped then try a new one. If you can't get the bolt out, then you need a hub. Drilling that thing out may be damn near impossible.
To be safe, I'd recommend replacing the hub, especially since it's 4 bolts and not 5; but you'll end up needing to replace the wheel bearing and recommend replacing the (2) steering knuckle stretch bolts as well.

No, just the stud striped. I was able to find some new ones at a VW shop here in Phoenix. Heated the hub up just a bit with a torch and they came right out. My tranny seems to be leaking a bit of fluid, do you see this being a problem for my trip back? I have never known a manual shifting car to have transmission fluid. Any help you may have would be great, seeing as that we have the same year/model of car, except yours looks much better.
