Default Wheels? What ya think?

<center><img src="http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/asa/swap/asa_ar1_ci3_l.jpg"></center><p>I'm considering these to replace my self-dechroming BBS's?

Been quoted $250-$350 each to de-chrome/rechrome BBS's......

Rather by the ASA's at $180 each.

I like them...

Have you considered sending your wheels out to a place like Indy Powdercoating? They will strip and powdercoat wheels for pretty cheap, under $60/wheel. Not sure if that'd include removing the chrome plating or not. Shipping to AND from would be around $30/wheel (15/wheel each way) via FedEx. Just a thought...

Default NP - I may send them my 16" ATS's, and have them done in a color close to Seal Grey

Its not as dark as Anthricite, but not as light as Zermatt...Comes on the new "anniversary edition" Boxster S models. Very nice color. That whole car is nice looking (GT Silver, with aluminum interior trim bits, special badging, slightly more power, etc).

Oh, project 13x1.25" brakes is starting on RW's '95 90q. He found a set of lightly used (24k mi) 993C2 calipers for cheap...Dem is big. I thought my 993C2 setup looked big, but that extra 1" of diam actually makes a visual difference.

Default Or you could DIY...

although it is LOTS of work, and you could not do chrome again. Metallic silver would look great on the BBS's.
