All you need is very good quality speakers in the stock layout locations, bandpassed and a sub to make up to bottom end in the rear, you would be surprised at the sound quality in a setup like this... guess i gotta get my *** down to NY to show ya

They have some of the worst SQ out of any enclosure, they must be specifically and precisely designed for the subs that are loaded in them. The generic ones will always sound like crap. If you want pure SQ go with a sealed enclosure calculated by the golden ratio. If you want SPL stick with a large ported enclosure. If you want the best of both worlds (SQL), use a Transmission Line enclosure. If you are going for better imaging, then placing the midbasses and the midranges in the doors is fine, but place the tweeters in the A-Pillars. The more level the tweeters are with your ears, essentially, the better the imaging.

If your on a budget, infinity's will get the job done better then any other brand in that price range. If you have a bit more money to spend, then look into CDT HD series, or MB Quart premiums. If your looking to go all out pick up some Focal Utopia 3 way component sets, or CDT Eurosports. There are certainly some other high end brands out there you may be interested in, but these are the ones i've worked with extensively before and had great results with.

Kinda stupid they didn't do the passanger side as well. Brian will be getting that interiro shortly so you'll be able to see for yourself. Btw, look into Cabriolet door panels as they are the same as Coupes, doors, windows...trim, everything. Late cabs may have it on both doors.

...at least in the US. So that light tan color in the pic at the top of the thread might not be able to be matched...
Black and grey should work though...
