Default I was...but you didn't see my car...

Mines an '89 b4 hood conversion. You'd know it from anything else out there...red with black hood and blue front bumper. Hella 4000's mounted up front and the full cage inside.

Still need to paint the car...

Default I looked over a few times, Nice car

Wish I could have had a better look, was keeping a eye on all the dumb dumbs out there. Where'd you get the cage done? Any pics?

Thanks...

Cage pics can be seen by clicking the link. Really should update that, the inside looks a whole lot better.

Would be even nicer, if the weather was warmer!!

What are you driving?

93 90 quattro, green, 5spd. No mods. Hoping on doing some lighting work in spring - RS2's and I have a set of Hella FF200's which I wanna mount somewhere.

Default Good luck!

The free-forms are BRUTAL to mount on the Audi...they don't fit in the stock location, they're too 'deep' to mount to the top of the bumper, and the audi has no provision for mounting below the bumper. Be prepared to fabricate some custom mounts!!

They worked quite easily on my 85 4000. Just mounted them on the top bumper. The backets that came with it were steady enough for me, I'm not flogging around the Tall Pines or anything . I was happy enough with there output. I agree with the mounting, I'll have to wait till it's a little warmer out to tackle that one.

Default Roger that...

It could be that the b4 hood got in the way of mounting them up top...

Regardless, I put the 4000's on too...so I had to make a bracket. Surprisingly the FF brackets have held up to some testing we've done...including burying the Audi in 4ft of snow this past weekend. Oops.
