Default Who likes Acetron?

Howdy! I am very happy to have heard from Mance that the Acetron Control Arm Bushings are getting closer to final production. No pricing has been set yet, but I have been studying up on the properties of Acetron versus Delrin and Teflon. From the looks of it the Acetron material is going to be quite a bit better than Delrin. I have noticed some companies already offering Acetron in high performance control arms for other makes.

Keep your eyes and ears pealed for the release of these control arm bushing sets! These will fit all cast control arms:

80/90/CQ/Cabriolet (Cast Control Arms)

This means most of the 90/CQ front control arms, all of the B4 front control arms and all of the Cabriolet front control arms. Also some of the latest model 80's will have the cast arms up front and will be able to use these bushings.

Unfortunately it looks like Mance will not produce the rear solid helper bushings for the 90 B4 quattro for public consumption at the moment.

Stay tuned and Mance will likely post on his testing shortly!

Cheers,

Default will a press be needed or can somebody R/R these with basic tools?

basically if you can remove the old rubber ones being these are self lubed (graphite) will they go in fairly easy?

Default you have to press the old bushings out with a vise or press...

New ones can be installed by hand with no tools whatsoever.
