will i pass emissions with no front muffler?...
so i have a scorpion cat back exhaust on the coupe and my front muffler sounds like a damn tamberine between 2800-3000 rpm and at idle, there is nothing i can do about it. so if i replace it with straight pipe will i pass emissions? also will it be significantly louder?(i na good or bad way?)

muffler shouldn't have much effect unless you are talking about a catatlytic converter...
with the cat removed you may pass with flying colors, i've had many a audis that i punched the cat out for various reasons, they all passed.
if your injection is working properly without vacuum leaks and the o2 sensor is working it should pass.
the only thing the front muffler might do is lose your low end torque besides making more noise.
you might gain a couple hp in the high end, but driveability may be affected.

my cat has not been gutted as far as i know, so i should pass, i am just worried about the noise factor than...and the cars already dont have the low-end which im sure we all know so that might suck...
