impexfap was the one place, albiet $$ but you could find those odd and end rare parts if you had the PN#.
I popped in pn #'s to alot of common parts and it comes up not available, wha?
either their search engine is crap or they have very little for the 90.

I did manage to pull up allroad tranny mounts at 60 bucks, $18 more then taylor without the free shipping.

speaking of vwparts.com, it no longer even loads, down or did it change its name?

I called them a couple times about their sucky searches and the lack of listing anything under Audi from the early 90s (in their YR, Make, Model search). They said their programmer would eventually get to it. He supposedly is starting with the newer VWs and moving back toward Audi and older models. Yawn....

I still go to them for dealer only parts when I need several. Otherwise, their prices are no longer low enough to save money versus going to the dealer for those odd one or two items, after shipping and a two week wait is added.

thanks for clearing that up, although I know about the name change i was suprised at the **** poor search and availabilty of those dealer only parts.
guess we will have to wait till they get in gear to grab those uncommon parts.

and just change the appearance of the website, along with the name, who knows? But their new DB definitely sucks as do their higher prices.

-----so in other words they are working on it as it was mentioned by yucatanaudi. they are going from most recent backwards so the late 80's early 90's might take awhile.

the prices are high but the trick is, for everything thats common use taylor, for those "dealer only" use them
