*** New Product Announcement - A.W.E. Tuning 2.0T TSI CBFA/CCTA Downpipe***
After a lengthy development process, we have completed work on our downpipe for the 2.0T TSI CBFA and CCTA motors.
The CBFA was a challenge because it features an extra O2 sensor, which means that both the OE warm-up cat and main cat are monitored.
Removing one cat, something that is typically done with a performance aftermarket DP, not surprisingly resulted in a fault code.
After testing for tens of thousands of miles in varying climates, our simple yet effective second O2 sensor fitting modification has allowed all of our CBFA test cars to remain fault code free when using our 200 cell HJS catalyst, even with stock software.
Extensive testing of the 2.0T FSI taught us that 2.5 inches and not 3 inches was the proper diameter to use, which we also applied to TSI exhaust development.
Highlights of our system:
* Compatible with both CBFA and CCTA motors
* High quality 200 cell German made HJS catalyst
* 2.5" diameter 100% Stainless Steel Construction
* Will not throw a CEL, regardless of software installed on the car

Here is a dynochart that shows our in-house 09 GTI CBFA at three levels of tune:
1) Stock
2) Fitted with our TSI Turboback exhaust and stock ecu programming
3) Fitted with our TSI Turboback exhaust and G.I.A.C. programming

Downpipe owners will experience gains of 15 horsepower at the crank on stock software and 62 hp on G.I.A.C. software, when coupled with our 2.5" catback exhaust system.
These downpipes are currently in production in our in-house fabrication department. The first units will be ready to ship by Monday of next week.
