because there arent any A chassis torsen equipped cars made. A sideways engine does not work with any of the gearboxes that use torsen diffs... ALL of the transverse engies use haldex clutch based AWD systems. There have also been more than 1 torsen based system, I know that there are at least 2 different haldex systems however I think vw/audi only use one of the two.
quattro is a marketing term not a speciffic AWD system and 4motion is used in a simmilar manner by VW.

Your 88K user ID and 76 posts doesnt lend much credit to your doubting me either. I dont know or care to know about your credentials or qualifications to make statements about information, however I'd like to see you disprove my previous post regarding haldex and torsen quattro systems on various platforms using transverse or longitudinal engine mounting.
