Did any one take their car for the 10,000miles service? I called in to most of the dealerships to set up an appointment for the 10,000 miles service, and they told me it's not required for the 10,000 miles, but definitely at 15,000 miles. I thought the car has to be brought in for service at every 5000 miles.

That is up to you. I would do an oil change at the very least.

nope, i did not even bother. i ll take it at 15,000 as scheduled. currently the car has 12,000.

However, I'm certainly changing the oil & filter and rotating the tires when I hit 10k in another 1500 miles.

especially if you have 2.0T. I just think 10K is too long even with synthetic oils.
