Hey Everyone,

I recently purchased a 3.2 Quattro and I really want to do some work on it so I can have a car that is faster than the Douche Bag STI's on the road. I know the engine is more than capable. I'm not interested in putting a Turbo in it because I hate the lag and the way they effects gas mileage at highway speeds,

I know how hard it is to mod one of these cars but this would be a really great thread if the community worked together to figure it out for all the A3 3.2 Quattro owners out there.

Let's put anything and everything on here. If you write a reply try to tell us whether the mod is good for gas mileage/performance/or could be used for both.

If you bought your A3 with the intent of making it faster than an STI I think you may have bought the wrong car. The VR6 does not have much tuning potential unless you change your mind about turbocharging. Just for reference a 2008 STI has around 11 lbs for every hp versus your A3 3.2's 15 lbs. You're going to need at least another 80 bhp...

Well, if you have patience, and some pretty deep pockets, you can get a **** load of power out of these engines. Mine is modded to the hilt, and I can eat an STI any time I want!
