Hey all,

I have read its possible with some coding changes to allow you to close the sun roof using the door lock button on the key fob.

I have also read a couple of places that people have been advised by their dealership that it is not possible to change the coding on MY10 vehicles.

Just wondering if anyone has any comment or input on this, before I go down that route.

Instructions for many cool VAG-COM changes including window/sunroof close in the following, but no idea if they will work on 2010's (steering boost adjustment only works on 2006 A3's):

BTW, these are typically not done by the dealer, but using a VAG-COM interface cable from Ross-Tech (NOT a cheap ebay cable). You don't have to buy a cable if there's someone in your area that is willing to share theirs.

Not possible in the North American version, according to the owners manual. On page 48, at the bottom of the page is this sentence:

For safety reasons it is not possible to open and close the sunroof with the remote-control key.

this, is true. windows up and down, yes. sunroof no.
