Hi all,

i am stuck choosing between a brand new S3 or a mint condition used RS3. Love the look and technology of the 2021 S3, but the engine and sound of the RS3 is amazing.

Would love to hear people’s thoughts and experiences with both cars.

I have only test-driven S3s and RS3s, though not the 2021 S3. I recently bought a 2020 A3 Technik. To me the S3 is not enough of an upgrade over the A3, which with a cheap tune would match the S3 power. The RS3 engine makes it worth it - easily. The engine is one of the truly great engines of this era. If I could afford it, I would get an RS3 for sure. Hope it works out for you, whichever you choose.

rs3 for sure...if you want speed and a beautiful engine/gearbox..If you only care about comfort and tech and a bit of speed the s3 will be more than enough for you
