3.2 engine oil drain through filter housing?
The Bentley service manual (online) shows the oil drain plug in the center of the oil filter housing. Does anyone know if this drains the whole shump, and not just the filter?
And, can the service reminder be reset without special tools, such as Vag Com?

Your supposed to drain the filter first and then the oil pan...
There is a oil pan plug as well as the filter.
Read the manual it explains the procedure to reset the service reminder if the dealer did not do it or if you serviced the car yourself...
