7-speed DSG from VW

well, MBZ does it for higher top speed and fuel economy, I believe
whereas the little motors just need it to GET to speed.
but yeah, as shifting becomes quicker, the advantages or more, shorter gears really come into the picture.

25 years ago cars were coming with 3 speeds and 4 was overkill
5 was nuts...
6 spds were only in super cars 10 years ago and now they are in economy cars.
its always nuts till its common place.
