Not quite 9 months, but something of the same pain.

After a delay in the order being processed, then being cancelled (without my knowledge!!), the wait for the 2001 MY and then the broker finally deciding to bring it over from Denmark (3 weeks after arriving at the dealer).

I had it dropped off at my office this afternoon, no UK plates as yet (insurance company produced a cover note with a registration of "CHAS1S").

Very impressed, despite only driving the few miles back from the office. Can't wait for chance to take it on a longer trip...hurrah for the weekend.

For once, I am actually looking forward to being sent on a project a decent distance from home.

Congratulations. If you want a quicky reg, take the papers to Reading, they do them over the counter now.

Much as I would like to speed things on, by doing this myself. Unfortunately, I am reliant on my broker, who should be doing it today.

I'd like to get rid of the 'DK' plates, at least I can then apply for my parking permit.

BTW did you send the plates back to Denmark, or provide proof of their destruction?
