A3 1,8t quattro (150bhp) questions

Re: Haldex is "crappy"?? - have you actually driven one hard on track??
Hi Divid
No I wasn't "offended" by your comment, more astonished given my research on the subject. I wasn't about to leave a "true" quattro car without being confident about the competence of an alternative awd system. Here in NZ we get a lot of wet roads and I firmly believe that awd provides significant safety advantages, in addition to providing essential traction if the vehicle is over 200hp. Under 200hp there is much less advantage although in very slippery conditions still worth having.<p>Greg Spark
