Default Kingshad....do you have this 2.0 TDI Quattro arrangement?

I've driven the 2.0 TDI Golf and its all around performance was impressive, killer fuel mileage to boot. Maybe now that low sulfur diesel fuel is in the initial stages of distribution here in the US, the TDI technology will become available in US Audi's.. Remember, VW/Audi AG has a few v6, v8 diesel motors which are exceptional performers; MB and BMW too.
Cheers, MS

Default Drove a MY01Golf 1.9 TDI (110PS) from Frankfurt to Le Mans back in 2001

Which represents an 10-12 hour drive as I recall, it could have been longer; my pseudo Alzheimer's at work here. Seems we made a stop in Reims, France for a 1st class dinner and over night stay. Anyway, the Golf TDI was a torque monster and sipped the fuel while traveling close to 90 mph or so. The others in my group were traveling in a brand neu A8 of the time, stopping for expensive fuel often enough...While the vehicle types aren't even close, the relationship fuel consumption wise was an eye opener. As and aside, which car would you want to park each day in the cramped inner city of Le Mans...or any other city? Cheers, Mike
