Last I read, you were debating upgrading your non-sport suspension with a swaybar I think. I'm debating about buying a used A3 sport suspension, vs. an aftermarket, or just upgrading the swaybar. As far as I'm concerned, it rides fine, but I would like to reduce the body roll firstmost, and secondly reduce the wheel gap.

I'm guessing H&R.
Also, are you folks upgrading both front and rears, or just the rear? And is there more than one kind (i.e. sport vs. track models)?
I'll get that squared away first while I'm still deciding on springs (and shocks, maybe). My A3 comes with a non-sport suspension, and with my 18" wheels and summer performance tires, I honestly feel that the ride is quite firm for street use (which describes 99% of my use). Therefore, my main goal in swapping shocks 'n springs is to reduce the wheel gap (about 1").

The rear bar is the one to get for killing some of the understeer.
Like you, I feel the ride is plenty firm for a daily driver.

Also ... any ideas/products out there that would just lower the ride and not change the ride? Is there an Euro. version non-sport setup of springs we could use perhaps?

and I don't feel like spending the cash - both to buy and then install - to either leave it on when turning it in, or pay to take it off and re-install the original.
I just enjoy that I can climb the speed mountains at my local Lowes without worry of bumping the underside;-)
