I'm thinking about getting a 3.2 DSG A3 as a daily driver to keep the miles low on my RS6, but I don't quite fit, as I'm tall and the headroom in an "open-sky" A3 is a bit tighter than other Audis. Yes, I do fit in one without open sky, but this means I must order a car, as a 3.2 w/o open sky is almost non-existent (dealer search didn't show any equipped like I want). I can get a better deal from the dealer if I take the car they have, plus don't have to risk that financing available 2-3 mos. from now will be less favorable. So, has anybody customized the seat mounting (rails or brackets) or had the seat bottom re-padded to gain the 3/4" or so that the open-sky impinges on my head?
