Default MPG

MPG... hmmmm. I think people always exaggerate their MPGs. There is NO way someone with a 3.2 is averaging 25 (which I read last month)...

I think it would be better for people to share how many miles they get from a full tank. and then explain their driving.

ie: I get 300 miles
I think the 2.0T tank is 13.5 or 14.5 gallons.

3/4 city
1/4 highway

If I drive all hwy, I can get close to 400 miles on 1 tank.

Default That person you are referring to might be me. I do average 25mpg

And no, I don't go by the computer readout. I calculate (Miles driven / gallons filled)

- 350-360 miles on tank (with 1/2 gal. remaining; 14.5 gallon tank)
- I've gotten as much as 380 on a tank without running out of gas.
- 120 mile/day commute (1/4 stop/go and 3/4highway)
- Average 43-47mph (highway speeds 65-75mph)
- All-season tires

Default What do you mean by - 350-360 miles on tank (with 1/2 tank remaining; 14.5 gallon tank)

Not sure I'm reading that correctly.

Default You read correctly; I just typed it in wrong. I meant to say 1/2gal. left.

I corrected my original post.

Default with my HPA turbo on it, i average 27 in mixed driving, ....

27 mpg is damn good for all my mad powa, and my go go fun driving style.

pure interstate, gas station to station, i have seen 34mpg!!

that's with 370-380 bhp!

(<i>this is with higher flow injectors than stock.
and mpg numbers are manually calculated, not from computer display.</i>)

now then, .... if i'm deep in the throttle, though, i can almost see the tank indicator needle moving

Default Im lucky to get 20mpg

Best Ive ever done is 24mpg but usually 18-21.
I drive backroads from work averaging 35mph (trust me this is fast for the roads I am driving). On the way to work I take the parkway which I tend to get better mpg since the avg speed on the parkway is around 55mph.

Its a 25 minute commute over 15 miles about.

I owuld imagine that over a longer drive I would get better mpg but the sticker say 27 and I doubt I will ever see that number.

I get 250 miles to the tank very consistently.

You have an R32... how about showing MPG comparisons before/after HPA?
