Default A3 8P - annoyng rear seat rattle

Hello to all,
I have one Audi A3 8P 2.0 Sport with one annoying and irritable rattle comes from rear right seat.
I suppose that comes from rear right belt. I'm thinking take out trim to try find out where is the problem...
The most strange is when it's good weather (I mean hot) there is no rattle, just appear when it's cold weather (maybe I should drive only with good time )
Someone can help me about this? Some ideas...?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Default Sometimes the seat back latch. Flip the seat down and see if it goes away. Flip it up and

make doubly sure it's firmly latched. If that's it, you can see the dealer about a replacement latch and hope that fixes it, or spray the mechanism with WD-40 and wrap the striker bolt with a layer of electrical tape.

Also try climbing in the hatch area with some really bass heavy music playing and see if that can set the part(s) to rattling so you can find them.

If you take it to the dealer, schedule a drive with the tech so you can show the person fixing the car, exactly what the sound is, and hopefully they can fix it first time around.

Common enough issue among all cars with fold down seats no matter brand.

x2 with the latch issue April, should be the culprit. Just slam it shut.

Default :-) Believe it or not, the camry was rattle free. The A4 has more rattles, but...

then again it does have the lowered suspension as well as the stiff sway bars which do contribute.

Default Re: metalic rattle continues...

It is a metalic rattle but even with the seat unlatching the rattle continues. Yesterday I went for a drive with my brother driving and I was in back seat try to find out the metalic rattle.
For sure it comes from "inside" seat belt (the black plastic trim that cover the seat belt). I'll contact the dealer to solve that issue, because I can live with same noises in car, but not with this one... it's a loud metalic rattle.
Thanks for your reply
