I am thinking about slightly lowering my A3 1.9TDiSE but don't want to go over the top for reasons including ride quality and insurance. An inch would be plenty.
I was wondering if the springs used on the A3 Sport models are smaller and stiffer than the A3 SE models? Otherwise I was wondering about S3 springs but I'm sure they would be costly...
Thanks in advance for any advice on this!

The Sport springs are shorter and firmer that standard, not sure about the TDi though. S3 parts would be dear and the rear wouldn't fit as your car isn't 4 wheel drive.
