Hi People, first time post so be gentle!
Got a 1997 A3 1.9TDI 110, rear wiper has just stopped working, fuse blown and replaced but hasn't blown again. looked through posts to find similiar and it looks like a new motor is suggested, but... done a bit of digging today and found that the motor itself is fine, so must be the control circuitry. I've noticed 4 wires going into the motor assembly, but can't find a wiring diagram to check the voltages against. I assume there's a ground and a permanent 12v supply (to allow wiper to park after switching off) but the other 2 wires confuse me - they both sit at +5v with the ignition on and both drop to 0v when the wipers are switched on. Anybody got any more info on how the damn thing is supposed to work?
Cheers
Graham
