A3 VIN

I'm looking for an 06 or O7 A3. Does anyone know if there is something in the VIN number that would be unique to an A3 with the sport package?

The 4th through the 8th characters of the VIN are for model designations, engine sizes, body types, etc. There are several Audi VIN decoders available on the internet--Google can find them. A good one should be able to tell base models from sports/premium packages, etc.

One of the few actual ways to determine specific trim options/packages is through a licensed version of ETKA that will decode the VIN as inputed by Audi at the time of the vehicle build, revealing the specific PR Codes (option codes) for that vehicle. This program is what all Audi/VW dealers worldwide use for parts info...so IM/email me the VIN and I can tell ya
