Its actually adaptive bi-xenons, not available on the 2.0T. Don't know the hardware difference.

Default Actually, perhaps the reason Sport+Convenience+Bi-Xenon isn't allowed is that

Audi doesn't have a wiring harness to support that configuration. Because Bi-Xenons also have dedicated DRLs, additional wiring is required. If Audi never sourced the appropriate harness from its supplier, that would be a stopper. Any orders that slipped through with S+C+Bi-X could be filled by doing some custom wiring.

Apparently, because the Premium package includes the Convenience package, they anticipated the Bi-Xenon requirements and have a harness for that configuration.

That's my theory.....

Default Mine was one of them!!! I have had no problems with HomeLink as of yet...

Palms were greased... My dealer had the factory rep force the options through. They went through a bit of trouble to do so but in the end, the order was accepted and built 09/05.

That is a convincing theory. The heat thing just doesn't really fly with me . . .

If that were the case, the Premium pack would not have home link and Xenons.//.

Default Why not have the Adaptive Xeons installed aftermarket?

Might be expensive but why not order the A3 2.0 with Sport, Connivance, and Halogens and have the Adaptive Xeons installed aftermarket? This gives you Adaptive Xeons on the 2.0. I was thinking about doing this.
