Anyone driven a 3.2 with decent summer (performance) tires?

Mine came with all-season P6's. I'm thinking of dumping them in favor of performance rubber (same size as stock), but I don't know if it will make enough of a difference to justify the cost.
Thoughts anyone?
TIA

similar weight and the same quattro system...i plan to get summer performance tires instead of the all-seasons (then get snow tires mounted on winter wheels and swap them at thanksgiving and easter).
i like the goodyear f1s.

Not sure yet if I'll go with the Neuspeed RS10s or wait to see if BBS Air CK IIs will be offered with the proper offset. I'm looking to reduce rotational inertia as much as possible and the PS2s are one of the lighter high performance tires available. I also have a 3.2 and I find the gearing is just a little too short, so I'll use 235s to increase ther diameter just a little and provide a wider tread width.

as not to degrade ride quality. Idaho winters make for rough roads.
Please post your findings if you go with the Michelins.

I not only dumped the P6s but also the 27 lbs rims, for a set of OZ UL with Michelin PS2.
Not the stickiest race tire around, but probably one of the stickiest street tires with extremely good wear. Best on dry. Not best on wet but still several hecks better than any A/S.
I took them on the track and had a blast!

My 3.2 DSG has the optional 18" rims with Pirelli's PZero 225/40 from the factory.

...have used them on track & in autocross, and found them to be extremely predictable / consistent / forgiving. When the time comes to replace the P-Zeros that came with my 3.2Q, Bibendum (the Michelin Man's actual name) will be rolling another set my way, for sure.
