Anyone experienced any block issues with chipped A3s?

The S3 might be driven at full throttle for 20 minutes or might be pulling full power levels, say for a couple laps of the 'Ring, and at higher rpm levels than an A3. It has stronger pistons for the physical stress of high rpm and the increased thermal loading.
A chipped A3 does not begin to make the top end power of the S3 because of the smaller turbo and smaller injector. The A3 chip is really about mid-range torque, where the total stress on the engine is much less, especially the rods and pistons.
Go for it, but I would seriously think about getting a Quaife limited slip, as noted.
