It always happens on Market & Noe in San Francisco. Everytime I park in that area,
I have to press lock/unlock keys several time. Especially in front of Peet's coffee. I know it sounds bizarre. Maybe some sort of radio tower or cell sites near there?

Yes! This has been really frustrating for me too. Key battery problem?
...About 1/3 of the time, the key fob won't lock or unlock the car, and I have to use the key itself in the door. Other times, I can be on the other side of a parking lot and it works fine.
I was thinking maybe the battery in the key fob is weak. Haven't tried another battery yet.
Strange that many of us are having the same problem.
