Anyone here every run the Yokohama S-Drive tires?

I have them on my TT. I use them for track days. They are not the most quiet tire, but not bad even for everyday driving. The tread seems to hold up very well. I have done 3 track days with them and they still look new. Grip is also very good.

I recently had them installed on my 2004 A6 wagon. So far, fairly quiet and handle very nicely. They replaced Dunlop SP9000's that were worn down. I wanted to try the S Drive, got them at TireRack.

Yes, have the 245/40/17 on my VW R32 as my DD summer tires. I really like them, good in wet, not too loud (but not really quiet), seem to be holding up. Only have about 3000 miles on them. I have another set of wheels/tires for the track so these dont see much hard use.

Would like something that will make it past 20,000 miles unlike the Conti's that came on it. Quieter tire would be nice too! But I'd still like something that grips well in the corners, dry and wet. I have snow tires, so an all-season is not needed.

Any suggestions?

Where abouts in VT are you? My sister lives up in Burlington, and I used to work up there as well.
