Anyone know if the DSG system can be tuned? Different shift points, etc?

that I'm very interested in myself. I would not be surprised if Audi offers a 'flash' for all DSG owners in the next year.

The transmission is controlled by the electronic transmission control module, which is buried inside the transmission case. Borg-Warner, which makes the tcm's for this car, has noted you can put whatever parameters you want into the transmission, but doubt you will see any "tunable" tcm in the US.
First is fuel mileage, and the CAFE standards. Next is emissions. Third is Audi of America uses a completely different tcm for North American cars for their warranty purposes.
HPA has done one, but they had to use a Euro-spec tcm. You have to completely disassemble the transmission to swap the tcm. Cost is your best guess, but I think $$$$.
