Default No, not really.

I had it in my B6 1.8T Avant. Would have been nice, but no, I don't really miss it. Then again, I live in SoCal, so QTR was a luxury more than a necessity for me.

YMMV.

Default Same here.

Had 4x motion on my Touareg. There's clearly a big differnce between it and the front wheel drive of the A3. I haven't driven in bad conditions yet but I was extremely impressed on how well the VW handled heavy duty rain conditions. It would plow right through anything without even a hiccup. I'm wondering how the A3 is going to handle adverse weather conditions.

Default Well, in SoCal, adverse means a slight drizzle. ;)

And all hell breaks loose on teh freeways.

Of course, if you decide to take it up the mountains to go skiing, it won't do as well as QTR, but that's not really my bag, so I think I'm good with the Frontrack for now.

Default Ha, you're not kidding about that. Cali drivers are

a joke when it comes to a slight bit of rain, or mist for that matter. Accidents left and right because no one has a clue on what to do if it gets wet outside.
