Anyone running the Carbonio intake? I've got the AEM and am getting tired of the 'hoover' sound.

Does the carbonio make the power? I can get a new one, for less than $150.00. I just don't want to sacrifice the power I'm seeing with the AEM.

Default Where can you get it for under 150? I have one coming in the mail! According to the site, the power

is hard to test on the dyno because of the lack of real airflow... so im guessing the dyno sheets dont look that good..

you are just buying the idea i guess.. and its pretty .

Default yea I mean it's prolly better than the factory set up which I don't want to go back to.

For the price I'll try it out. I'm sure I'll be able to sell it if I don't like it or I see a big drop in power.

Default Carbonio,,,,.

I like mine very & it seems to makes the most noticable diffrences:
-Inproved throttle response (slightly smoother/faster)
-Mid & upper rpm & higer speeds. Bit more power
It may be impossable to measure an intake function while a car is strapped on a dyno since the function is speed specfic (air forces at speed) IMO the venturi effect of the Carbonio design would argue in favor of it's inherent functionality & practical benefit. Every little bit helps attain a better SYNERGY in engine tuning programs. The whole is always greater than the sum of its parts in a good tuning package design,
-Aural qualties: carbonio does contribute in a small way to the nice sound ogf the car. No shop-vac intrusion justa deep mid-range growl.
